Does anybody know at what angle the original SR-1A is sharpened (factory edge).

Weird...my SR-1D was convexed from the factory and I thought that was the norm. Took a lot of work to reprofile but mine cuts a lot better with the regular V edge.

I can't really say - I got my info from Moletta himself. Maybe they switch it up.
 
If convex can be measured with angle... It design an angle of approx 14 degrees per side.
