The Badger attack is my first user and I have been playing with it a lot. I accidently dinged the edge with a ceramic from my sharpmaker. Not much but I was rather upset. Anyway I found that the 30 degree angles are perfect. A few strokes and its as sharp as when it arrived and as you know that blade arrived sharp. I am really glad the angles matched cause I use those ceramics without the guide for many of my knives

Way to go bro. I know the feeling. I have rolled a few edges in my time from this or that :p and it was nice to see how easily INFI sharpens up. Great job. Nect time we need pics. I love to learn new things.

That's surprising. I've not tried my BATAC yet, but none of my other busses (GW's included) would touch the 30 degree sticks -- had to use the 40. But it (BATAC) definitely did come very sharp.

I was surprised too but I figured I would try the 30 first. This is the first time I have sharpened one of my Busses. Infi is amazing stuff. Feels different from anything I have against the ceramic. I really feel the friction against the rod but it seems to sharpen smooth as silk. I only use the ultra-fine. The fine is actually pretty aggressive

The first thing I did with mine was put it on a belt sander and thinned the edge out some, and then refined it on my Edgepro, down to about 30 deg inclusive. Still too thick for me, but all I had time for. I'll try to post some pictures when I have the time. I made it really ugly, but don't care, it's a user!

POST 'EM POST 'EM POST 'EM !!!! :D :p

I nearly had a BATAC and wish I still did... 40 degrees sounds harsh! (I know its only 20 per side...), but when I get the Anniversary steel heart, that will be a cutter... so will get a zero edge and a nice polishing...

No safe queens! If I spend $$$ on a knife, I want it to perform, and these will. Here you go!

I fixed 'em for you. :D

I cannot get over the way infi sharpens. AS I said this is the first of my Busses that I have touched with anything but leather and damn but that edge is keen. After stroking this Badger on the sharpmaker and honing it on my homemeade strop I can literally split hairs. This steel makes getting a razor edge child's play. The fact that it works with the 30 degree guide on the Sharpmaker helps too Unfortunately my camera is at work or I would post some pics

Yup. That's one of the things I like about it also. It responds very well to ceramic stones, which are some of my favorites.
