The last 10th of an inch on my benchmade ATS34 is blunted from a fall, about 3ft, from when I dropped it this weekend. (Doh!

Am I going to have to remove all the steel that I think I am to get it back? I also chiped the blade, but I figure that will slowly become a serration, then nothing in time.
Suggestions?
I would really like a new knife, but this one grew on me, and I am broke till I finish payments on other toys.
