i was browsing through my library today and found a book on sharpening... the only thing is that the diagrams don't make any sense to me, especially since i'm so used the terminology commonly used around blade forums...

the odd thing is that in the photos of sharpening the knife he isn't using 45 degree angles or anything...he just seems to use them in the diagrams
anyways, thought this was kinda funny and thought i would share...
