So there is a back story I need to share first that is over due. J. Mattson on the forum got me started here a while back by giving me a benchmade Pika II for FREE! He sent me the knife and pretty much got my edc and collection started. I really like the knife and have used it on many camping trips.
Now after reading much about convex sharpening, I really wanted to try it. So I went and got about 12 dollars of sandpaper in different grits and watched the videos on knivesshipfree.com. The pika II was my knife of choice and it has turned out beautifully. The knife looks and feels great. It cuts just as good or better as my other knives using my GATCO, and the best part is I did it freehand by myself! I recommend everyone at least try convex at least once. You will not be disappointed and again I want to thank J. Mattson for his generosity.
