sharpening chisel edge knives....

is easy w/the right technique - bud told me to sharpen on a stone heel to point, till ya feel a burr on 1 side - sharpen 1 side only - then when ya feel the burr, strop away from edge w/a razor strap(or anything leather like a boot), have an old 1 dad was a barber for a while - was easy and my emerson CQC-7 tanto was shaving in less than 5 - what can i say? works for me.......first time i have sharpened a chisel edge knife- was suprised at the ease - BUT they arent real practical for every day knives IMHO
