Hi,
Should I sharpen CRK Damascus blades just like S35v in the Sharpmaker? or is a better way to do it?
Thanks

With regards to methods and angles, yes, you can treat it about the same.

However, if you want to play around with edge finishes and such you will likely find some differences. I think the DT tolerates a more refined edge better, and is a lot more fun to use if you take the finish up a notch or two.

I have a William Henry Damascus that I sharpened on my Wicked Edge. Followed the factory bevel (about 17 degrees per side) and it has been fine since that time -- about ten months ago.

Yep, treat it just like S30V/S35VN. In my experience, it performs just like them.

Thanks everyone,
I got a 25 raindrop that came very sharp and got hooked and might get a 25 baket weave. I started with a small lefty 21 and now have 18 between the lefties and a few 25 with the the double studs. I have to enlist my wife to take pictures since i have two left hands when it comes to photographs.
Nyefmaker, that is an impressive collection. I have to watch where this is taking me, I rotate them and use them but they are multiplying like gerbils

The edge that a DT stainless blade takes is, in my opinion, much different than S35VN. It will hold it's edge the same as S35VN but, like Unit said, takes a refined edge much better than S35VN does.

In regards to sharpening it, treat it the same but with lighter pressure than used on S35VN. It doesn't take much for DT stainless damascus to get screaming sharp.
