So I have had my eye on a wicked edge since I dove head first into knives. It has fallen to the wayside over the past year as I have dropped quite a bit of cash on my collection. I have had several CRK's, Striders, ZT's, and Benchmades come and go, but have ended up with a select group that really satisfies me. Back to the wicked edge....I almost pulled the trigger about 6 months ago, but set a personal goal that I would hone my freehand skills before I move onto a guided system, because I feel like I would be doing myself a disservice by not learning a skill that would last me a lifetime. I have been working hard and often on my benchstones and feel like I have reached my goal. So yesterday, I pulled the trigger. Ordered a WE pro pack 1. I am very excited to get it here and get to work. The company was nice enough to include a complimentary pack of 14/10 leather strops and upgrade my 5/3.5 leather strops to 5/3.5 balsa strops. I am more excited to get this thing in, than I was to recieve my first sebenza, and that is saying a lot.

Here is were I have gotten to on my stones. Shaves hair effortlessly and glides through phonebook paper. Sorry for the jacked up lighting and i phone quality pic. It looks much better in person, but y'all get the idea.

If you can freehand the edge to glide through phonebook paper, I think I'd call and cancel the Wicked Edge. You have accomplished the goal! You could put the money into additional stones or strops. The knife you show looks beautiful! Good job!

Good sharpening,
Dave
