I just got a River Shorty to put on my PFD while kayaking. The serrations are pretty thick and blunt. Has anyone had any success sharpening them up? I don't expect wicked sharp, just a little sharper. I am going to try my sharpmaker, but thought I might as well ask about it here.

I improved the plain edge on mine with the Sharpmaker, but it took some work. The serrations would be even harder. I would suggest getting a thin diamond rod sharpener and doing each serration separately.
