Sharpening hollow grinds(how you sharpen them)

I put most of my hollow ground blades flat on stone until I get a burr.After that raise angle and make tiny secondary edge.Cuts like crazy.It scratches the knife, but cuts so much better.
 
That's a great way to ruin your knife, AND produce an edge that will roll or chip.
 
Well, Ive been doing it for years and never had problem with major rolling and chipping, and none of the knives are ruined, just few scratches here and there.Guess it depends what you cut with it.
