Sharpening IonFusion / BuckCote knives

I have a B110Z4 Folding H. BuckCote gold folder. An impressive folder.
How do I sharpen it? The instruction says to sharpen only on the side with the edge, but should I use a strop or something to get rid of the wire edge that comes when you are sharpening correctly?

The best way it to keep the knife sharp by touching it up often. Don't let it get too dull or it can be a bit tricky to learn to resharpen. A leather strop is a good idea for removing that wire burr. You definetly don't want to use a stone on the coated side.
