Sharpening Is Not My Thing

I've tried. Truly.

I learn best with someone showing me and I just don't have that. I've watched videos, I've read how-tos, I just learn better when I can talk and ask questions.

So, knowing that, and knowing that I don't often need sharpening, is there someone who does that if I can mail my knife to them and pay?

Any recommendations?

Shoot me a email and we'll get you on the way to sharper edges.

The answer is practice. I dulled out three knives when I got my sharpening stone. Dont hesitate to put Sharpie on the edge to see where you're taking off material. Also dont be fooled by experts and try to sharpen as fast as them. Use slow passes with light pressure and apply more Sharpie as it wears off. Sharpening is not rocket science. If you keep a consistent angle the knife will get sharp so be sure you're not moving you're terror wrist when making passes
