hello,
im working in russia for a knife comapny,, kizlyar, www.kizlyar.ru
...anyway, we were having a bit of a thing with the sharpening at the moment the knives are all sharpened on grinding machines using a wheel,,
im not to keen on this practice at all, as it limits the way you can sharpen the knife and the angle you can produce, aswell as it produces a hollow instead of a flat edge,,,
we are making several hundred knives per day,,, so as much as id like the workers to finish the shrpening buy hand..
i dont thing it would work,
i just wanted to hear your opinions ,
im prefering a belt sander and then a leather wheel to polish the edge,
but polishing can be a problem with the black bladed military knives,,,
whats your opinions
