Sharpening Question

I just bought a ZT0300bw. Now Ive been sharpening all my knives with a lansky 5 stone system with the clamp in guide rods which has done pretty well for me so far. The lansky stones are about a half inch wide. My question is can I still use the lansky with the zt's recurve blade. I've never sharpened a recurve blade before and I just want to know will the lansky do the job and if not what would you recommend as a replacement. Thanks in advance for any info or suggestions.

Place the knife in your Lansky system and the color the edge with a sharpie marker. Make a few light passes with the fine grit and check how it makes contact with the edge. Adjust as necessary. Let us know how you make out. Welcome to Blade Forum.

You can sharpen recurves on the Lansky it helps if you round the edges of the stones.

I find the lansky works wonderfully for any recurves. Even aggressive ones like my cold steel spartan. The thin stones hug the edges well and make it easy to touch up or reprofile
