I have a CRKT Titanium Mirage and I dropped it and broke the tip of the blade off. Not much but just enough for it to be visable. What's the best way to fix it?

I hope you have a couple of sharpening stones.

Take your knife and re-grind in a point using your stones! Maybe start with your fine stone and work the back of the tip a bit, to remove any burr left from the tip breakage and to re-establish a bit of a point. Then switch to your rough or medium stone and just "sharpen" the point a lot! It will take a bit of grinding, but not too much. For this type of work I like to really lock my hands and use firm, curcular strokes. This removes a lot of m,aterial ant a nice, controlled rate. Scrub for 20 seconds on one side, then switch sides, back and forth until the point is re-established. THen sharpen the whole blade like normal. Good luck!

I don't have any stones at the moment. If I go and buy a sharpmaker will I be able to do it with that?

Here's another thought from the opposite diretion. Try grinding the spine of the blade down until you get the tip back. You'll keep the edge you have, and the spine will just be curved a bit more. If you don't have a grinder or a sharpening hone, some 250 grit wet/dry paper from the autobody shop will do the job. Just lay the spine down on the wet/dry paper, and abrade the spine.
