I had some basic questions about the process of sharpening a chicle ground curved blade

1) regarding how to sharpen a chisel ground of any shape: After you sharpen the beveled side and you create the bar on the flat side do you actually sharpen (going against the blade) on the flat side just using very little or no angle at all or do a stropping motion (with the direction of the blade ) on a sharpening stone Just to even the bur out

2)can I use my sharpmaker to sharpen my combat Karambit and how Can I garuntee the most even edge with no dull spots being that it’s curved.

1) Either way works but be gentle and go slowly.
2) Yes using the edges of the stones. You will learn by practice.

I find the best tool to be a diamond rod of larger diameter. I believe Emerson sells them.

What’s the best overall hand sharpener’s because I’m trying to spend like 200 bucks and get a couple of sharpeners that I would be able to add to my collection and use to get hair popping results
