sharpening recurve blade

Is your Black Talon a recurve blade? I would just purchase a bottle of grit and add it to paper or cardboard for the next time. DM

Good ome dude.
To the bone as it were.
A bit neander but unquestionably effective.
I can picture the original makers of the karambit sitting down after a hard slog in the mud and sharpening their hooked blades on their shins.

I just bought a Tasman Salt and from what I have read you got to REALLY like sharpening to own this plain edge version.

I don't exactly know what came over me; one minute I am imagining this to be the ultimate work knife and the next I am un boxing it and trying to keep it sharp.

Pretty interesting AND DIFFERENT experience from my other hard bladed knives. I do like it though.
The gate way drug was my Spyderco Cricket. Very useful . . that little hook on the tip.
