Howdy I just got a Kershaw Ken Onion Boa and a scallion (holy crap that scallion is fun as hell to flick open) i'm not sure how to sharpen the recurve blades though. I have a Lansky set and wondered if it was possible to sharpen the blades on that. I know that with the boa's 440V steel it's important that i don't let it get too dull before I sharpen it. Do i need to get like a diamond sharpenig stick or something? any help would be appreciated. its gonna be time to sharpen soon

The lansky's stone for sharpening serrated edges might work on the recurve. But if it was me I would just buy a ceramic/diamond rod. That is, if you don't want to spend the money and go with a sharpmaker.

I have a Boa and a Sharpmaker. Don't let that thing get really dull or you will regret it. CPM 440V is a frustrating steel for me to sharpen. I can put an edge on it, but I have a hard time getting the kind of edge I like on it, that I get on all my other knives.

The Boa is a great knife, though. Enjoy it.:)
