Hey HOGS and HOGGETS! :D I am thinking that with so many people actually using their INFI noawadays, and their interest in sharpeing them, it might be a good idea to add a section on our blog for just that. It could be as simple as a thread listing all the resources we can come up with. Or I could add another page. What do you guys think? If you are game lets just start adding links, ideas, resources, etc... for anything and everything that would help us with keeping our INFI crazy sharp. :D

I think another page holding as much information as possible regarding the subject would go a long way!

For myself, sharpening is a bit of a mystery, I've never sharpened anything other than my knockoff buck knife and it isn't exactly perfect.

I think people would really appreciate the information!

That would be great! I've been using my BM and today it hit me that sooner or later it will need sharpening and I have never sharpened anything remotely like it, so help would be much appreciated. Clint

Heck, just have Justabuyer or Soupmonger do a tutorial

Everyone has their preferred trademark way of sharpening. A page devoted to various sharpening methods would be cool. This would allow folks to take what is useful and apply it to their own technique/method.

Exactly what i was thinking. We could have stoff for Edg Pro, Sharp Maker, Justabuyer's tutorial, Soupmonger's, stropping, outside links, places to buy stones, equip, etc... After putting my handles back on my FFBM I realized how important it was to know the right places to go for the right materials.

Nice idea. I have an Edge Pro inbound and would love to have a resource like this.

Another page with all that information would be most excellent.

Great idea, Tyrkon.

I have been meaning to get a sharpening pictorial tutorial together... so I will do one when my ASH-1 gets here.

I think it would be a really interesting and useful section. :)

It would be nice to have that as a known resource, plus there could be evaluation/reviews of sharpening methods, tools and related equipment.

I for one would be interested to see this one

+1

Listing a method and/or resource is great. But then having evaluations/reviews of it all together would take it to the next level. IMO

My problem is I normally drink while I sharpen. So by the end I am normaly drunk , nude and prone to vulgarity.

On the other hand I have a huge hairy white belly. Lots of area to test the edges for shaving.

So who wants to be my camera man....
