Sharpening S110V

Looking for advice on sharpening s110v! I will be using my KME with diamond stones what grit should I stop at? I have heard that S110V doesn’t benefit from a polished edge so was hoping to get advice from some of the pros! Thanks in advanced

You don't want to use natural stones on steel alloys which contain Vanadium Carbides. You want diamond stones.

I haven't tried 110V, but I do have knives in S90V and S30V. Diamond at 325-1200 grit, according to your own preference, makes upkeep of these steels amazingly simple.

A coarse hone works well for S110V. A few light finishing strokes on a fine produces a toothy edge.
