I have been reading about sharpening equipment on this forum and on others. I went to a local Woodcraft store and received an opinion, which was directly different from what I have read here. I don't think I would get my moneys worth if I bought a Tormek $y$tem. I have a Spyderco sharpmaker, brown/white rods. I need a set-up for convex edges, particularly for a Gransfors Bruks Small Forest Axe.
What would you recommend? Strop, stones, etc.
