Sharpening Shack???

I'm wondering if anyone has tried getting their knives sharpened there. They say they use a Wicked Edge to sharpen knives and its only $8, so I'm thinking of sending in my s30v paramilitary 2

why can't you sharpen your knife yourself?? it would save you money over time and you might really to get to like it. I cut alot of cardboard. I could not afford to have someone else sharpen my knifes. cardboard dulls out a knife really quick. I enjoy doing it my self. just trying to save you some money.

The only person I would let sharpen a knife for me is Richard J, I have an edge pro and do my own sharpening now, but before that if I had a knife I just couldn't get sharp or a steel I wanted to get the most out of, Richard was my go to guy, He's a respected member on here , prices are 1$ per inch of knife and his turn around time is amazing, usually same day, If i didn't enjoy doing my own edges so much now, He would still be getting my knives. I've had a knife that was sharpened on the WEPS I got it in trade and the forum member said he would sharpen it on the WEPS for me before the trade, The knife was sharp and the member knew what he was doing , he makes youtube videos of him sharpening knives on the weps, But Richard J's edges are just as good.IMO

i was going to send my knives to richard J. i talked to him almost a month ago, but he said he got hurt and after talking to him a few days ago again, it is still looking bad
