Currently I'm using Lansky Crock Sticks(the deluxe turnbox one) to sharpen the blade. Problem is, I want the blade to be sharper, and the tip is significantly duller than when I received it. I messaged cutlerylover on Youtube about this, and he said to use a strop for the blade, and to reprofile the tip. Problem is, I'm a beginner at sharpening knives, so I have no idea how to strop. I also don't have the knowledge and equipment to reprofile the tip. To put the tip into reference, I can press my index finger into the tip with a decent amount of pressure, and it won't pierce the skin. It leaves a mark, which fades away in a few seconds, but nothing more. The blade is a recurve. Can anyone help me?

if you want someone to sharpen a recurve i can do it for you. i specialize in recurves along with convex edges.

Can you also sharpen the tip? If you could, I'd take it under consideration. It would be kind of difficult though, seeing as I'm not legally an adult, and I don't really know how I would ship a knife off somewhere without someone getting suspicious, such as my parents, or the person behind the counter at UPS.
