Howdy, I've been pretty satisfied with the sharpness of my knives. I use a BK14 and a Lamson 6" Chef Knife. Both can shave hair if used at the perfect angle, but lately I've wanted that razor sharp edge. I use a Hard Black Arkansas stone to sharpen after a few uses, and then I finish up on a leather strop. I usually pass on the stone about 20 times both sides, 10x on the strop. After heavier use I do 20 passes on the Soft Arkansas stone, then repeat the above. What stone should I get in order to get an even finer edge on my blades? I have read stories about people cutting themselves super easily on accident, but if I run my finger down the blade, it won't cut it unless I actually put in the effort to do so (not that I'm trying to cut myself, just want to achieve an edge that would make doing this very scary.) Any advice is great, but I want to stick to using stones.
