Using a slightly curved blade, like an ESEE-4, in a fixed sharpening system (like a Lansky or Wicked Edge) it looks like the edge is steeper towards the tip, after the curve, than in the straight portion. Is this just part of using one of these systems, or is there a way to get a consistent angle across the entire edge?

What I mean is that the shiny, cutting edge is much wider at the tip than at the straight portion.

You can reposition the clamp on the blade closer to the tip if the knife is long enough to change the angle of the hone when it gets to the tip.I used a KME guided system to put the bevel on this Esee 4 and it is of consistent width from heel to tip.

There are lots of videos out there for the wicked edge that show you how to adjust the clamp so that you get an even bevil. Just poke around on YouTube for one.
