Currently on market there are several shapes of sharpening system.
Edge Pro, Hapstone... are ramped from base.
KME, Techstudio... are like a dog with ramp on horizontal.
Conducting some studies about shape, space and limitation, which one is more efficient?
I mean, ramped system occupy less space in the vertical, are lower or short.
Dog style have to be higher because with same measures of ramp and setting angle they must have more space under the knife place to allow the stone slide back and forward without be placed on the edge of a balcony but they must have their advantages.
Does anybody have experienced both shapes to tell us which one is more versatile? Pros and cons with any shape style?
Thanks.
