So I like my Lansky Sharpening system quite a bit, but I was wondering what do y'all use, and do you have any recommendations? I have been thinking about getting a Wicked Edge sharpening system but figured I'd post here first and get some feedback.

Edge pro, hapstone systems for me. I prefer it over clamped systems like kme (which I also have), lansky, wicked edge etc. I have more control and options for different blade shapes and grinds.

With that said others have done fine with kme and wicked edge.

Can't go wrong with an Edge Pro. They're pretty versatile and there is tons of aftermarket stuff available as far as strops, stones, and lapping films. You could always get the base kit and buy a custom set of stones depending on your needs. I've never used a WE, but I do like being able to flip the blade and concentrate on one side at a time. Each one has a learning curve so it's really a toss up there, but the EP has more built in safety features IMO.

Take a look at the KME sharpening system. I started with the basic kit and ordered one 9 Micron lapping film and achieved a mirror polished edge on my first try and like the EP it has many add ons available and are coming out with more all the time. This the vid that got me interested.
