Sharpening Systems?!

Hello, All!

I have been wondering if anybody out there has a similar sharpening system that I have. Look at the photos below, and let me know (that was an unintentional rhyme).

I use Japanese Water Stones, and A home leather strop that I made from scrap leather and a piece of wood from a bed frame. I use compounds on the leather, and Water on my stones, not oil.

Does anybody else use a system similar to mine?

Seems like a good setup! Unfortunately I still haven't used a waterstone yet, really want to. Lol and I hope you use water on your waterstones!

I'm not sure what the course stone is. I've had it for a long time, it works well though!

Ha, yeah. People are always asking me if I use Mineral Oil, or Water. I say the same thing.
