I got myself a Clax a few weeks ago and I've been using it heavily. I have an unbelievable growth of honeysuckle 12' high running the length of one side of my property. The Clax has been invaluable in getting it out. The downside is one edge is no longer razor sharp which is key in chopping through this stuff.
Anyone done any sharpening of the Clax? Any suggestions? I am aware of the mouse pad/sand paper method but the blade is recurved and pretty big.
As a side note, if you are thinking of getting a Clax, do it. I thought it would just be a novelty/amusment item but I decided to give it a real go with brush clearing work. I couldn't be happier. Its a beast when used with care.
