Sharpening The Tac Tool.

Is there any special way to go about sharpening the Ka-Bar Tac Tool? I don't have a lot of experience with single edge blades. Plus just the shear size of this thing. I have a Smiths sharpening stone fine/medium.

I would use a 9" benchstone on a chisel ground blade. Its easy to do, just lay it on the angle that fits, and make a few passes. Sharpie the edge first to see where you are hitting.

Raise a burr then buff it off on the reverse side with a strop or some cardboard.

That should get you whoopin' some ass.
