Anyone know a way I can sharpen a dulled tip with a lansky turnbox? They use cylindrical sharpening rods....
If it's impossible, that's ok... Please don't tell me to buy a stone ;)
thanks guys!

If you're talking about a rounded/blunted tip, then I don't know of a way to fix it on a turnbox. In fact, one of the main things to keep in mind when using the turnbox is that you don't want to pull the blade far enough that the tip falls off the rod, as this can round the tip if done repeatedly. I've been using one for years, myself, but only for micro beveling and edge touch ups. It's great for those things, but I'd look elsewhere for tip repair. A piece of wet/dry sandpaper on a flat surface would be a good and cheap option (see, I didn't tell you to buy a stone :D).
