Sharpening trailmaster with wicked edge

I can not figure out how to sharpen my cold steel trailmaster with my new wicked edge. First it's too wide to get the vice to hold it in place. Then there is now flat spot for the flat sides of the vice to clamp against. Do you think I can replace the screws with some longer ones? What about the no flat sides?

Hello Crimsonhooch ,
I phoned Wicked Edge for screw thread size , and diameter , Went to the local hardware store ,and bought two different lengths . They work fine . Do not recall spec's . Just phone Wicked Edge for info at the same time ask them solution to the flats problem . Sorry i could not be more help .
