Sharpening Vic Pioneer awl

Any ideas or guides on how to properly resharpen this tool?

I usually just use a small diamond hone or stone to free hand the edge, copying the original angle. Mostly used is the Eze-Lap model L in my wallet.

Perfect! I have a sharpening stone that I use for my blades and even the can opener but the awl seemed kind of tricky since it is sharpened in a strange way.. but that worked wonders. Thankyou!

Use Jackknife's pic above. Drag blade flat on edge toward right hand in photo. after a few times across the sharpener, torn over & lay flat against sharpener & knock off the burr. Easy & only takes a few times on the ez-lap.
