Sharpening Video...

I am looking for a video by one of the members here.

The member had a cat laying sleeping as an avatar (that every now and again peeks at you with one eye open). He made a video with stones and a wedge (that the stone rests on) to get a good angle and edge.

I think the member was Russian as well - as the video did not have sound. Does anyone know this member or have the links to his videos.

that is a great idea for keeping angles. I read some threads here with guys that make the same setup for benchstones but then with a rig that allows you to change the angle for the stones.

I tried to make one with easily adjustable angles an configurable with the ability to strop and store your stones in it, but wanted to do it too perfectly and could not get the materials I wanted for it so I gave up on it... Still sounds like a good idea to me though

I made mine with scrap wood and a door hinge, a rubber wedge and a roofing angle measure thingy!
