Has any one made a good video for sharpening a kukri I used a stone on my villager and got it sharp again but it's not the same kinda sharp as what it was when I got it I tried to use the same angle as what was on the knife and ended up getting it shaving sharp but it's not the same as factory sharp any one got any recommendations?

The best method is using wet/dry black sandpaper in 800.... then 1000 grit paper, you can go mirror finish if needed but I find it overkill on a kukri. Use either a telephone book or stiff mouse pad as a pressure pad for the sand paper. Another great method is to wrap a 1in or larger wooden dowel with sandpaper and use it to sharpen form cho to tip. A stone is much to aggressive and it might mess up the convex edge unless a delicate touch is used.

This guy is a little long winded but he has good info on sharpening. Just remember to keep the same angle/profile of the current edge. Here is a link to a video showing the sharpening technique.
