Sharpening....who?

You need to learn to do it yourself. Really. It's not a difficult task to learn at all. The only thing it takes is patience, time, and the right stones or device. Head over to the sharpening section and read some of the threads, search, participate in discussions. Everything you can possibly think of is there.

Grab a spyderco Sharpmaker. It's a great tool for noobs I am no good a freehand sharpening but I can get a hair popping edge on most of my blades. It comes with an instructional DVD as well, it's fool proof!

It's also pretty portable, I take it with me often.

For the price of sending two knives off to be sharpened you could buy a Worksharp. It takes little practice to make real sharp knives. A bonus is that if you pull the plastic guard off you can reprofile edges to a nice, blended convex edge.

Get a sharpmaker. If u want someone to do it, I suggest theapostlp he does good work. Look up theapostlep sharpening on YouTube.
