Anyone here use these as sharpening stones, besides Ankerson? I'm thinking of a set of 1" x 1/2" Moldmaster stones in 80, 150, 320, and 600 grits to practice my free hand sharpening and be a little more portable than my bench stones. I have portable finer stones if need be.

I use them on the edge pro. I like them so much I bought a lifetime supply. They don't wear much on the EP. The 150 grit made rebeveling K390 reasonably easy. They break easily though so I dunno about portability. Half of a 6 inch stone might be a good carryaround stone.

I use the MoldMasters from Congress on my WEPS. They make a 6x1x0.125" stone that fits on blank paddles. They are great for reprofiling. I find that the coarse diamond grit paddles leave large ruts in the edge that you don't get with regular stones. After reprofiling with the MoldMasters, I jump to 200 grit standard WEPS paddles to begin refining the edge.

These stones are both good quality and inexpensive. I don't flatten them - I just toss them every year or so and mount a new pair...
