Just out of curiosity, what do you use or recommend for sharpening your multi-tools / Vic's ? Can that original/out of the box sharpness ever be regained ?

Thank you for your comments in advance and sorry if this has been answered a zillion times before :)

For those smaller blades I usually just use my ceramic Tri-seps by Gatco. My blades on those tools don't see much use so all they ever really need is some light touching up.

The Spyderco 204 would work just fine on those too.

I use the Spyderco 204 to sharpen all of my blades. With very little practice, and a little patience you will be able to get an edge better than the one it came with!

I'm really big on the 204. It's one great tool and if you don't like the angles, you can use the sticks free hand. I didn't think I'd ever spend 50 bucks on a sharpener, but this is the best 50 I've ever spent. As far as factory sharpness, the 204 blows it away.

I'll go with the Spyderco sharpmaker also. And I think that it gets them sharper than out of the box. It might take a little practice and time, but the results are worth it.

Spydie Sharpmaker 204!!

The main thing to remember is...DO NOT LET YOUR KNIVES GO DULL. You can easily maintain the factory edge with the 204. You can even put a sharper edge than what the knife came with from the factory, just as logan5 mentioned.;)

I use a friend and knifemaker J.P Holmes. He sharpens them so sharp that I get one of my blades CLOSE to my arm , the hair just jumps off. :D
I cannot sharpen a knife worth a Poop!! :o :(

I really like the razor edge system for sharpening the knives I have.

Honestly, I use what I have around. I sharpened up my SAK today about 30 minutes ago. I happened to have a waterstone in a bucket so I just went and pulled it out ant touched up the blades to a sweet toothy edge. Took about 2 minutes.
