Sharpening?

Please pardon me, as I am sure this question has
been asked a lot.
Since I am a newb to HI khukri's, what is the best
way to sharpen them?
Also what is the small knife that comes with the
knife without an edge to it used for?
In a previous post it mentioned that it could be
thought of as butchers steel.
Thanks in advance.
 
You sharpen them like any other blade. Not sure what exactly you're asking.

The "Also what is the small knife that comes with the knife without an edge to it used for?" is called a chakma, it's used as a steel to straighten/burnish the edge if you roll it during use. It can also be used to strike a firesteel to start fires.
