Well, Makael, some of my knives are sharp and some are blunt.
Which one ist the sharpest? I don't know.

I bought four of these Buck 110s with BG-42 drop point blades last year.
They are easily the sharpest out of the box Buck knives I've ever received.

My new Buck 118 with 5160 blade steel was the sharpest new knife of any I have received in recent years by far. OH

My sharpest. I received a new 3 dot 110 from a collector friend and it's edge was well done. Very sharp out of the box. DM

Stumps, your other 2 of those, were they the ones you put different handles on? DM

Good memory David! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Here are the other two...this first one I like a lot! It now has maroon linen Micarta covers.

This one I don't like at all. This is the only one I've ever done that I REALLY don't like...but it is as sharp as the rest. :)
It has ram's horn with NS and bone spacers. It will eventually end up with someone who does like it.

I got a stockman, medium size with pretty rough edges from an looks standpoint. But those suckers were wicked sharp.

I can sharpen my knives to whittle curls on free hanging hair. That little stockman came easily able to do so.
It had a "3 finger sticky" edge. Which is really rare from a manufacturer.

Also, my Buck 110 came like that but the edge was much prettier.

As mentioned above, my recent 110s in BG-42 and 5160 have been very very sharp out of the box.

A buck custom sambar tag bg42 i ordered in 2004 would be my sharpest knife out of the box I've ever seen.

Buck and Rough Rider are the sharpest knives out of the box that I own, closely followed by an Opinel #8, in Carbone.
