My 9" Sikayo showed up Sat. It is literally a 9" RAZOR-BLADE this being my first High End Kitchen Knife. Haven't been able to get a good picture, Over-Cast and rainy here. Here's a Borrowed Picture.
Remember if you get one they are Lft & Rt handed. If you rest it on a tomato it starts to slice it by its own weight.

Awsome looking kitchen knife. The 9" looks great, but I think the 6" would be more for my needs. Though I could definately see the 9" carving a turkey this thanksgiving....lol. I am anxiously looking forward to seeing what they will come out with next, they are supposed to be making a 4'' or there-a-bouts kitchen utility knife. I know my wife could defintely use one of them as the kitchen knives we currently are pretty beat from years of use. I can definately see a 6" in my future though.

I've got the six inch. It'll go dull after sitting wet for an extended time(gf negligence), but quick touchups with a white sharpmaker stick and green stropping compound gets it back to an extremely sharp level. Great knife. Kudos to CRK. I'll have to pick up the 9in too.

Rickster, did that edge guard come with the knife?

Congrats on the knife! I really like that one and if I had the cash, I'd get it. A great knife in the kitchen is truly worth it.

I would agree about the out-of-the-box sharpness. Possibly the sharpest factory edge I've ever seen. The durned thing holds it's edge too. It's an amazing price of cutlery. Mr Reeve said (in the Woodsmonkey interview) that folks would either love this knife or hate it. I can't imagine anyone hating this knife. Best kitchen knife I've ever handled. CRK really hit this one out of the park.
