There were three main retail designs, then an unknown variety of bonus clampacks for the 152OT.

Ok, you asked for it. A mini-rant of Sharpfinger clampacks. As with all these rants, you are viewing a rough draft, the best info I have at this point. Additions and corrections welcomed.

Clampack packaging was a boon for mass merchandisers because they were tamper resistant, were not subject to shelf wear like boxes, and could be placed on hanging racks for self service.
Several clampack designs were used over the years. This design filed in May of 1986 was issued a patent in 1988 to two inventors, Mark Gardiner, and James Economos. The Schrade catalog number for a 152OT in a clampack was 152OTCP. A factory dealer flier dated 1985 is the first illustration of the clampacks I have seen, and it shows both the 152OTCP and the SGS-1CP (with the 34OT Middleman) available.
These earliest (1986-2000) had a tan card, gold border and header, with a black band across the top and text "OLD TIMER", the red "A Sharp Idea" banner in the upper right corner, "America Works With Schrade" slogan in the lower right. It mirrored the then-current tan box design. One like this included a bonus Brunton compass (also sold individually in 1988-99 as the 902OTCP). Later, Canadian export versions (pic above) of this package may be seen as well. My 897UHCP Canadian clampack has insert sheet #7007180711 (copyrighted 2000). At this time, the Uncle Henry clampacks were near identical in design, but were gray instead of tan.
Circa 2001, the card was changed to match the new blue striped boxes, with a blue striped card with "SCHRADE OLD TIMER" text across the top and a small American flag below that, "SCHRADE TOUGH" logo in middle left, and "America Works With Schrade” logo across the bottom. My 34OTCP of this design has the insert sheet #7180711 (copyrighted 2002) and states that the card is printed in China.

The last clampack (2003-2004) was mostly tan with a gray diamond plate motif on the left side with vertical “SCHRADE” text, a blue header with white Old Timer text, American flag in upper left, “Schrade Tough” logo in the lower center or right. Two of various outdoor photographs decorated the upper and lower tan field (Bull Elk, Mountain View, Mule Deer, Camping Tent, etc.). Uncle Henry 152UHCP packaging was similar, but with white Uncle Henry text in the blue field.

Several “bonus” clampacks were produced circa 1999-2001 for the mass merchandisers. One was with a black topped green card with yellow burst design on bottom right describing the bonus enclosed knife care kit (152OTCKP). Another used an all green card with a black center band, a yellow burst design in the upper left corner describing the bonus enclosed "Arkansas Sharpening Stone" (152OTCPSS). I believe other bonus packs included Schrade playing cards (152OTCPPC) and a red Schrade plastic poncho (152OTCPRP).

One of the reasons I had asked was I noticed the blade grind was different between my green clampack with the knife care kit and the diamond plate.I can't find your piece on blade grinds.Arnold

Codger could you show the difference in the hollow grinds?

Look at post #6 in this thread. My photohost is down tonight, so the pics I have posted there may not show. The curved line at the choil is the most obvious clue in a photo of a hollow ground Sharpfinger. When you hold them in your hand side by side, it is very noticible. The blade looks and feels thinner, and it is from the middle to the edge.
