Newby question. What kind of grind came on my Fat Game Warden and .170 Scrofa? Looks like it was a sanding belt? Is it a convex grind? What's the best way to sharpen it?

I have the Cupidgannza NO also but I afraid to even slide it in the paper sheath it's so pretty?

Thanks, Kid

The ganza sfno is flat ground, and I think the GW is too.

WHich one did ya get from Ganza?

Both GW and SS are probably V-Grinds. Considering their size, you probably would be just fine keeping them that way. Or, you could do a primary bevel with the V grind and then convex on medium to higher grits.

I cannot speak for the NO you scored...share some pics? :D

On my V grinds I use a sharpmaker. Works great on the little blades. I normally only use fine and extra fine and it works great.

I think you mean what kind of edge is ground onto them, and not the grind of the blade, right?

The Sus Scrofa has a convex edge on it. Don't know about the GW Fatties.

First things first. Go outside and chop the heck out of something. Get it scuffed up. That way you will have no fear in messing up the coating in the future. ;) Besides, they look better with some battle scars. :D

#59....;) Wish I could take some good pics but I'm not set up for it. I was surprised when it arrived the the flame looking markings on it are satin (shiny) and the rest looks like double cut (bead blasted)!! Really looks and feels good in the hand!

Thanks for the help guys...;)
