Couldn’t find any mention of these on Spyderco’s site. Are they still available? And if so, are they available in super-fine, or fine only, or...?

My diamond sleeves are what I use for knives that are VERY dull and/or need to be reprofiled. They are too abrasive to use for touch up in my opinion. I have only seen one type also, don't think there are different "grits" for the sleeves.

Glen,

The diamond sleeves are no longer in production, but I believe that Spyderco is working on something to replace them.

Don't worry that the world might end tomorrow....in Australia it's tomorrow already.

Not to worry. I've been getting great results just leaning a DMT 6"x2" diamond hone up against the ceramic sticks in the sharpmaker. That keeps the diamond hone at the exact right angle. I use the x-coarse diamond hone for quick re-profiling the first time I sharpen a knife, after that I can just stick with the brown ceramic stones.

Great suggestion, I just put a wicked edge on my old leatherman doing that trick on a Vee sharpener.

Gotta keep saving my cash for a sharpmaker.
