I've had a Sharpmaker in a leather roll for probably 30 years or so. Still works great. Anyone know the angle, please.? Been thinking about a new one with two angles that are marked.

Hi oldmike. Welcome to Blade Forums! I have a Sharpmaker that's almost the same age and, as Peter1960 said, the angle of the stones should be 40° inclusive. I've been tempted to get a new SM too but mine's still going strong. If I want to change the angle I just put something underneath the base and tilt the unit and check with an angle finder until I have the desired angle.
