Sharpmaker "Masters"?

There are a jillion posts mentioning the Sharpmaker and most of them give it high marks, especially for touch ups. I likewise have enjoyed mine and put it to good use over the years.

But who are the real Sharpmaker masters, and do they have videos here or on YouTube? Of course, I'm familiar with Sal's instruction video, and J. Davis has a good one where he uses a back-and-forth stroke to good effect.

But, in addition to those, I would love to see the techniques, tips, tricks, and variations of those who have taken the SM to the highest level.

It sounds like to me that you're looking for jdavis882. He has a technique for using it that I have started using as well and I feel that it works better than the official instructions.

Edit: Just saw you mentioned him yourself. Oddly enough, his technique works the best for me out of everything I've seen and tried.

Thanks for putting up that clip. Yes, that is indeed the video I was thinking of, and I've likewise found the back-and-forth strokes to be very helpful with a stubborn blade or one that needs a little more work.
