Anyone who has seen the video, feel free to add your comments.
First, I would like to say thanks to Spyderco for providing the video. I don’t have a 204 or 203, I do most of my sharpening on a bench stone. The video has a lot of great information, and is very professionally done. Even for a person like me who hasn’t used a Sharpmaker, I found the video very useful and am very glad I saw it. I also just may have to try this Sharpmaker thing out.

It was great to see Sal on the video.
Its always cool to have a face to put with the name.

Sal and spyderco did a great job showing how to use the sharpmaker.

Even though I like the way sarrated blades cut I would stay away from buying them because I was never able to sharpen them very well.

Also the sarrated blade would always look like crap when I was done trying to sharpen it.

After seeing the sharpmaker video I can see were it would work very well for sarrated blades.

I can sharpen a plain edge blade preaty well free hand and even better with the razor edge system, but I'm going to buy a sharpmaker for sarrated blade.

Then when the guys at work want there multi-tool blades sharpened I don't have to tell them I can't really do much with the sarrated blade.

If it works as easy as Sal makes it look I will probly end up using the sharpmaker for everything.

The "Dealer Information Video" was also very interesting.
It shows what goes into making a spyderco knife and how they test them.

Thanks,
pahl

Should be with the 2nd person right now. Have added 2 more people.

Good videos. Especially liked the company video about SpiderCo. Very informative. They are on their way to the next person now. Thanks. Charlie

I got the updated mailist I'll attach when the video arrives.

Thanks,
Dave

I have received and watched the videos, unfortunately I've been ill for a few days now. I hope to get them back out in a day or two.

Thanks,

very interesting...

So, the sharpmaker video is more than just a sales gimmick?
It actually helped a bench-stone-sharpener?

That is precisely the reason I had avoided it. I'm not interested in buying the 204. Just in polishing my skills on the bench stones.

Videos shipped on to the next person today.

I must apologize for the delay.

the list is started anyone else interested in the video, sign up now or forever (untill the next one anyway) hold your knife dull.

received video today. will watch over the weekend and ship monday morn.
i cant remember, are there special shipping requirements we agreed to? i plan to use usps priority like it came to me. ok?

Lee Brooks is next on the list if im reading this right.

I don't have a VCR (or TV) and I just got the video, does anyone have the video in AVI format ? maybe they can email it to me or put it on kazaa.

I love my sharpmaker but the little book it came with expalins a lot but I feel I am missing something by not being able to watch the video.

Thanks for the help eh... I will do a search for sharpmaker on kazaa tonight and see if anyone loaded it.

Yeah Brooks is next. usps priority is ok.
NGK, if you want I can add who ever you have to my list. Then again 2 moving at the same time may be quicker. It's up to you.

watched the videos last night.
very interesting. sal taught me a lot about sharpening things other than plain edge knives.

IMO spyderco should send that out as a promotional video. it sells both knives and the 204 merely by showing how well thought-out they are. heck, ive got several sharpeners but will probably buy a 204 sooner or later.

lee, its coming your way.
