Sharpmaker's first big test

A buddy at work and I were B.Sing about knives and sharpness. Then he whips out this Winchester three headed thing. I asked if I could repair the blade and he said sure. This will be the first knife I will "fix" for someone. You think a Sharpmaker can do it? The edge (on the drop point blade) is pretty beat I have the diamond rods.

It'll take a while, but yeah, it's doable. I mostly reprofiled a faux-tanto into a drop point with diamond rods.

Yeah, the diamond rods should be able to take care of those chips, doesn't look too bad.

After the Sharpmaker. It's not perfect but it's sharp enough and clean. Took maybe 20-25 mins to fix.

Much better. When using a sharpmaker for heavier jobs in the past I used to do the Jdavis technique. Takes a lot less time.
