I've got the britishblades pass around at the moment and notice that its the 204 model

whats changed from models before? I assume there are models before it

whats the cheepest place that will post to the UK for one. It may be cheeper for me to import

The Sharpmaker 203 only offered one angle (one set of holes), and came in a Cordura nylon-type "case", rather than having the plastic cover that the 204 comes in. I also think that the 4 hones were SLIGHTLY smaller (not as thick).

Some sharpmakers didn't even come with the nylon case, I can remember seeing a few that came in a cheap blue and clear vinyl pouch, similar to what a lot of tools come in.

Andy L, be aware that some of the 203 problems have angles more like 42 or 43 degrees, instead of the 40 they should have. I used mine for years and never paid much attention until i got the 204. I could correct the angle on the 203 by putting a wooden match into the hole with the triangle rod.

I would recommend getting the 204 because it is much more versatile. Just make sure you get a video that works in your country. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Hello Mr. Laser!
I got mine from New Graham, with a few other bits and pieces. With the exchange rate as it is, I still saved money even though I had to pay customs charges!

Get one, and your knives will be razor sharp for ever more :D
