Picked up this gem on a trade, at the St. Louis knife show last weekend. Blade is 5.5" of tight random pattern damascus, with stainless double guard and Ringed Gidgee handle. This is one clean knife!

Next to big bowies, little bowies are my favorite kind of knife and this is a real nice example. "Clean" is a recurring theme in all of Shawn's knives. Another great score buddy!

Wow! Sweet little bowie Danbo. If you ever get tired of it.... I know a certain gun/knife safe with a bunch of similar looking and sized knives that would be happy to keep it company.;)

Talk about inspiration !! Have I ever mentioned that Shawn makes some of THE most comfy handles - PERIOD !! Jason.

There ya go, Danbo... a near perfect example of the style of knife I've been concentrating on... a little clip point, a wonderfully designed, shaped and executed handle and just the right size! And I'm not even into the blade or handle materials! LOL!!

Great score... from a dang good maker, too!:D

I bought a McIntyre hunter off Danbo in a weak moment (on both our parts)... and I can attest that this McIntyre is a very fine maker, and that handle is as comfortable as it looks. Excellent.

Took a second look at the picture of Shawn's knife. Liked it even more the second time around.

The guy's really good and it shows. :)
